I had been tasked to create a collection of editiable NFT designs for OnOpen.xyz. They needed to feel tangible and real almost like a physical collectable. These NFTs would be tied to a physical ticket purchase for events through OnOpen’s platform. There was no clear design aestetic in place so I did some R&D and presented several ideas.
These designs had to be editable in After Effects by the client without requiring my input for every future iteration. I tracked the motion of the rotation and layered in some 2D elements and composited text to change event names.. The volume colour was rendered on a separate pass and could be controlled using Hue sliders in post.
